Scott B. Wilson
“Ace ALS”
Memorial Open Tournament Series
_____________________________________________________________
This tournament is a charity event for the former head pro here at North Haven Health and Racquet, Scott B. Wilson, who passed away in July 2005, after a long fight with ALS disease. Scott taught tennis in the area for over 18 years with a great passion and knowledge of the game. The “Ace ALS” Memorial Open Tournament is part of a series of tournaments to be held during May through August in three locations. Points will be calculated based on how many tournaments one participates in and how deep into the draw one gets. At the final event, to be held in August at Branford High School, the winners of the different events will be presented with their awards, and all proceeds will be donated to an ALS representative.
